Slow Cooked Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs

Ingredients​

  • Mozzarella cheese cut in ¾ inch cubes

  • ¼cup parmesan cheese

  • ½ cup whole milk

  • 2 lb's ground beef

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 cup bread crumbs

  • ½ cup chopped parsley

  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. In a large bowl combine all all ingredients with the exception of the Mozzarella cubes. Mix well.

  2. Roll golf ball sized balls with the meat mixture. Squish mozzarella cube into the center and pull the edges of the meat ball around it until it’s a new ball again.

  3. Coat bottom of slow cooker with a layer of tomato sauce.

  4. Arrange meatballs in slow cooker and cover in remaining tomato sauce.

  5. Cook on high for 2 to 2.5 hours.
